We had a Llewellin Setter when our sons were growing up. She was much loved, spoiled, and irreplaceable when she died of old age. We vowed to have another dog only when we found a Llewellin Setter.
How fortunate we are to have Ron & Marge in our own backyard, so to speak. Ron & Marge are not just breeders, they put a lot of loving attention into the development of each puppy. Our Sari Jane was already crate broken, well on the way to being house broken, could sit with some patience and was socialized by the time we brought her home at eight weeks. We live nearby Ron & Marge and they welcomed us each time we stopped by to see the puppies. We witnessed the attention and care the puppies got on a regular basis. We knew we were getting a quality setter from a quality breeder.
Our Sari Jane is a beautiful Llewellin Setter with a very sweet personality. She will be a fine bird dog when she is trained as she is already on the watch. The great thing about this particular breed of dog is their love and devotion to their owners as well as their hunting capabilities. We are Sari Jane's family and she loves to play with our grown sons and our grandsons when they visit. She is everything that we hoped she would be.
